  • The rugged EOS C300 Mark II features an advanced imaging engine with dual DIGIC DV5 processors, new professional codecs and outstanding dynamic range, making it the most capable, flexible and accessible Cinema EOS video camera to date.

The EOS C300 Mark II can record high bitrate 4K files internally to a dual CFast 2.0™¹ media card, 4K RAW files to an external recorder, AND 2K/Full HD Proxy files to an internal SD card, all at the same time. This offers highest quality footage as well as streamlining the production workflow process.

With 15 stops of dynamic range, the footage produced is suitable for extensive post-production work (our editors can zoom in and change the frame without losing resolution!), producing crisper images across the full color spectrum with reduced “color bleed”.

Have an event where lighting is low? No Problem! The new Canon-designed Super 35mm CMOS sensor and an increased ISO range (up to 102,400) delivers incredible low light performance, allowing us to shoot in a variety of challenging environments without compromising on image quality.

We paired this camera with the Canon CN-E 18-80mm T4.4 COMPACT-SERVO Lens which combines the functionality of Canon’s EF lenses with the features and performance of the Cinema lenses.

  • Basically, it’s amazing and allows us to attach a zoom & focus arm for ease of maneuverability while maintaining the desired movement for the shot. The Canon COMPACT-SERVO 18-80 T4.4 EF is parfocal which means when zooming in or out, the image does not lose any focus.
It’s lightweight design and added functionality with the Canon Mark II makes this camera suitable for a variety of productions from narrative work, to run-and-gun coverage.
The lens is Canon’s first cinematic-style option to incorporate image stabilization and auto focus functionality when paired with this EOS Camera.
